About Me

Hi there— My name is Nancy, and I’m a pediatric speech-language pathologist with experience in (almost) every pediatric setting. I’ve worked in a private practice, early childhood intervention, outpatient hospital, school, and more!

My goal with Sunshine Speechie is to do three things:

1.) Provide answers to the millions of parents in America who want to know how to best support their child in speech therapy and at home.

2.) Create tangible resources and tips for speech therapists to help them provide better therapy with less burnout.

3.) Continue helping future SLPs navigate the road from undergrad, to grad school, to CF and beyond!

Welcome to Sunshine Speechie!

Some throwbacks to the Pre-Occupational and Speech Therapy organization I started in undergraduate to help students navigate the graduate school process and gain the shadowing hours/experience needed to be a competitive candidate. Once the COVID-19 pandemic started and I graduated early from my undergraduate - I realized how much I missed being a mentor - cue the start of Sunshine Speechie!
